This photo was taken in Kargil, Ladakh. Kargil is on the verge of becoming the hub of winter sports in India just like Gulmarg in Kashmir. Indian Government has ramped up all the projects in order to create job opportunities in the far away land in the hopes of promoting winter sports in India. This football ground stands at 3000m surrounded by 5000m peaks that are completely submerged in snow in the harsh winter season.
