Thanjavur Brihadishvara Temple, called Rajarajesvaram by its builder, and known locally as Thanjai Periya Kovil and Peruvudaiyar Kovil, is a Shaivite Hindu temple built in a Chola Architectural style located on the south bank of the Cauvery river in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India.
