Murud-Janjira Fort is a famous sea fort in Maharashtra, built on an island near Murud village. It is well known because no one was ever able to win it in a battle. The fort has strong walls, 19 big watchtowers, and old cannons. It also has fresh water inside, even though it is in the sea.
